Now is always the beginning - Nonattachment

Updated: Jul 21

Nonattachment to what has gone nor projecting into the future, the mind settles when left alone. It is enough to notice it. Don't engage with it nor ignore it. Just leave it be.

Then, in that sacred space where identification is not: the breath eases, the eyes soften, and the blissful contentment of your being is known to itself.

But beware! Do not say, "I have arrived!". Such arrogance reveals the devil has snuck in through the back door. Who is there to arrive where?

There is no destination, as there is no journey. You never went anywhere and will never go anywhere. You are always here, still, silent, present. There is no end to you.

You are always this eternal moment: and now is always the beginning.

Beautifully written. Yes Now is always the beginning. Now is always fresh, never tainted, never stained, ever present, silent and still. So still almost as if listening. I love how you write “You are always here, still, silent, present. There is no end to you. You are always this eternal moment: and now is always the beginning.” Thank you for sharing this.

Thank you, Julie. I love your commentary..."almost as if listening"...Yes!

I'm not much of a "writer", but sometimes these aphorisms come through. Glad it resonated.
