My way is Wu Wei - Spiritual Poem

My way is whichever way the wind blows

My way is wherever the wide river flows

Attuned to life's cycles and aligned with nature's course

My way is like an autumn leaf dancing in a stream

Carried effortlessly by the current

I float along my merry way

From the outside, my way looks foolish

I do not tow the party line

A loner, aloof and adrift

Refusing society's moorings

On the inside, my way is still

At home wherever I go

Resting, in the deepest pool of contentment

Precious few join me on my way

Precious few understand

Though, sometimes, I meet a stranger

A comrade!

And greet, like old friends reunited

They too, clear-sighted

Bonded by the unspoken knowing

My way is rarely travelled, yet known for abundant riches

My way is the road not taken, yet a plain and open secret

My way is available right now, will you not simply take it?

For your information, I'll even tell you its name...

My way is Wu Wei
